Though I am a makeup artist, and very knowledgeable about makeup, skincare and hair care, I am not a licensed hair stylist, esthetician, dermatologist or other medical expert.

Disclosure Policy
On December 1, 2009, The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) enforced new regulations for blogs in regards to receipt of gratis, in an effort to create a blogging culture of full disclosure. According to these new regulations, bloggers must disclose to their readers any complimentary products or services received from companies.
From time to time, I do receive products from PR companies for consideration for review on Brown Bombshell Beauty. In order to comply with the new FTC regulations, as well as to maintain the fluidity of my posts, I will mark any complimentary products or services received with an asterisk (*). Any product without an asterisk has been purchased by me, with my own personal funds. Please know that I am not, nor have I ever been paid to review or write about a product, and I never will.
I do, however, receive a small commission from ads placed on the site. These ads come from both the ad network I belong to (Glam Publishing Network) and individual businesses desiring to advertise on Brown Bombshell Beauty. I also receive a small commission from product links to some of my favorite sites, if you so chose to make a purchase while on said site. Believe me, Brown Bombshell Beauty is not about the money for me, it’s about my love of beauty. I will never arbitrarily add links to sites or products, in an attempt to earn more commission.
