In my quest for the perfect conditioner for my coily (and perpetually parched) natural hair, I’ve tried pretty much every moisturizing hair conditioner in existence. While I’ve come across some that I like, most left much to be desired. I’d heard from several natural-haired gals that Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Conditioner worked wonders and tried it a year or so, but it didn’t do so well with my hair.

Then about a month or so ago while perusing, I came across Aubrey Organics White Camellia Ultra-Smoothing Conditioner, $11.96 and saw that a small handful of ladies raved about it (most curlies were still in the Honeysuckle Rose camp). Although I’d had a not-so-great experience with one of their conditioners I decided to give White Camellia a go, and I am SO glad I did! I can’t recall the last time I’ve had a conditioner have such an instant impact on my hair.

The first time I used this conditioner I smoothed it on my strands, covered it with a plastic cap and left it on while I bathed. When I rinsed it out of my hair and stepped out of the shower my hair was super smooth and soft, and my curls were popping beyond belief. I was sold! I’ve used it for quick conditioning without heat or a plastic cap and I still get great results. It’s has great slip and is AMAZING for detangling hair in the shower.

I’ve already purchased a second bottle so I won’t be caught without it! This is a great conditioner to soften and smooth hair and keep the frizzies at bay. With all the crazy heat and humidity of the summer months, definitely give this one a try!
