Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation Pics + Swatches
Lancome recently released their new Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation, $44, which promises to give 24 hours of budge-proof wear. While I don’t need to wear my makeup for 24 hours (I do wash my face, after all!), I can definitely use a long-lasting makeup as we approach the upcoming warm weather months.
So I headed to a Lancome counter to try Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation out. Department stores are infamous for their horrible lighting, so when when none of the shades looked right in the store I got samples to take home and look at in natural light. The shades in this product come in warm, neutral and cool undertones and are labeled with W, N or C. It was like pulling teeth to get them to give me more than one sample, but I ended up with 460 Suede W, 470 Suede C and 500 Suede W. Take a look!
None of these strike me as the perfect shade for my notoriously hard to match complexion, but I’m dedicated to figuring it out, lol! Just from the samples I’ve applied on my jawline and in these pics I can tell that the medium to full coverage and natural matte finish of this foundation would be ideal for me. 500 Suede W is too dark, and 460 Suede W matches the lighter areas of my face, but not so much around the perimeter. 470 Suede C might be workable but its coolness concerns me. I’m trying to avoid buying two and mixing, so once I decide on a shade and pick up a bottle, I’ll report back with a full review!
