Bombshell Diaries: Texture on the Runway at NYFW
When I heard that curly girl resource NaturallyCurly.com was hosting a runway show for NYFW I was curious to learn more. When I found out that textured hair, rather than clothes, would be the focus coming down the runway, I knew I had to attend! Models stalked the runway in textured styles created by teams from Arrojo Products (Nick Arrojo formerly of TLC’s “What Not To Wear”), Matrix (love their Biolage line!), Mindardi Luxury Color Care, Hair Rules (love them, check my YouTube channel for reviews) and new line Curls Unleashed from Organic Root Stimulator.
Stylists created textured looks on every type of hair imaginable. Not only did the models’ hair look great, but the attendees looked fabulous! Seriously, I’ve never seen so much gorgeous, curly, coily, kinky, wavy hair in one place! Take a peek at a few looks!
