Cover Girl: Queen Latifah Covers January 2012 Essence

Queen Latifah kicks off the new year covering the January 2012 issue of Essence magazine, where she chats about her new talk show (um, am I the only one who didn’t know about this?). Queen’s makeup is gorge, as always, but I must admit the weird far away eyes in this pic kinda startled me at first glance *shudders*. The beauty pages are always what I flip to first, so I can’t wait to read the perfect skin article!

I hadn’t heard of her new talk show either. I’ve loved the Queen since her early Hip Hop days, she never fails to impress! I didn’t even notice the look in her eyes until you mentioned it, and yeah, it kinda weirds me out too.
