Sephora 20% Off Friends & Family Sale + What to Buy

It’s that time of year again – time for the Sephora Friends and Family sale! Every fall Sephora (otherwise known as mecca around these parts) offers every wondrous item they sell for 20% off. This year the sale will be online only (no store coupons!) from October 20th to November 2nd via Sephora.com/friends. This is the best time to stock up on beauty favorites and items you use everyday, as well as to try out products you’ve been pining for. So, what should you pick up at this year’s sale? Take a look at my picks!

Clarisonic Mia Cleaning System, $129 – I consider this to be a must have item in one’s skin care arsenal, and I’ve written about my Clarisonic Classic here, but I think this sexy Jaguar version is a show-stopper! The Clarisonic  NEVER goes on sale anywhere, so whether you choose the Mia, Classic or Plus model, this is the time to purchase!

Fragrance! – A luxe juice can cost a pretty penny, so now would be a great time to try a new fragrance. I mean, when else can you get a designer fragrance for 20% off? If you’re looking for a sultry autumn replacement for your summer fragrance, this is a great time to find a new favorite! I’ve got my eye on Narciso Rodriguez Essence in Color and For Her in Color , $84 each. I’ve loved both fragrances for years (my reviews are here and here) and these new, limited edition remixes on the originals are worth adding to my collection.

I’ve been a loyalist to Cargo Bronzer for longer than I can remember, but over the last several months I’ve heard nothing but amazing things from my beauty blogging sistren about Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder, $49. Bronzer is a beauty staple for me (I use it for bronzing in warm weather and contouring year round), and every girl I’ve seen wearing this has looked gorgeous. I’ve hit pan with my Cargo Bronzer, so maybe it’s a sign that I need to pick this up? Just nod your head “yes”…

Jack Black Lip Balm may have been created for the fellas, but this lady (and many others) loves it! Since I began using it around this time last year, I find that every other lip balm pales in comparison. I simply haven’t found another balm that provides my kisser with as much lip-smoothing moisture. Every holiday season the brand releases a gift set, and this year they’ve just released the Jack Black Balm Squad Lip Quad, $25 which contains the best selling Lemon and Natural Mint (my fave!) flavors, as well as two new varieties, Shea Butter & Vitamin E, and Mango & Mandarin. Definitely give these a try!

Magnetic nail polish is poised to be the next big trend in nails, and Nails Inc. Magnetic Polish, $16 fits the bill. It’s only available in two, albeit fall-friendly, shades but the the trend is worth trying at a discount! I’ll give it a whirl at least once!
