Beauty Review: ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment

While perusing the aisles of Sephora recently, I happened across a product that’s been around for ages, but I’ve never gotten around to trying – ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment, $85. I don’t usually ask for samples because I’m too impatient to wait the eternity it seems to take them to make samples, but I asked for a sample of ExfoliKate, and have been using it for the last week. The cornerstone product celebrity aesthetician Kate Somerville’ skin care line, ExfoliKate promises to remedy acne, blackheads, discoloration and roughness with both physical and enzymatic exfoliation.

I must say, I’ve used more facial scrubs and polishes in my day than I can count, but ExfoliKate is probably the best I’ve tried. Never have I had an exfoliant give me such instant results! Redmedying blemishes takes time, of course, but the immediate softness and smoothness of my skin was incredible. Seriously, I couldn’t stop touching my face (which you shouldn’t do, by the way, but I couldn’t resist!). Admittedly, this is a pricey product, but I’m still using my tiny Sephora sample, so a tube will last you a long while. If you’re still not wanting to commit to an $85 product, give the travel size tube a go for $19.

Have you tried ExfoliKate? What did you think? How do you exfoliate your skin? Share!

I would like to try it, but I think it’s hard to get it over here in germany. Even as a make-up artist it’s hard to find this product in special kinds of shops.

I know, I hate it when I want to try products I can’t get here in the States. Try emailing Kate Somerville via their website and see if they have a retailer in Germany. Good luck! :)
