Midweek Manicure: Zoya Touch Collection Swatches

Greetings, beauty lovers! Last week I shared news of fab nail polish brand Zoya’s new limited edition Touch collection. Designed to be a trio of the perfect nude shades for all skin types, I couldn’t wait to see these lacquers in person! Well, I got my hands on the collection and am excited to show you how they look on brown skin!

Zoya Nail Polish in Minka

First up is Minka, which is described as “latte beige cream with a metallic kiss”. Minka is too light for me to wear as a straight-up, “mannequin hands” nude, but the slight metallic finish makes this beige shade both pretty and complimentary to brown skin tones. If you’re complexion is more caramel in tone, Minka is a perfect nude shade for you!

Zoya Nail Polish in Shay

Next is Shay, a “desert rose sand beige cream with a metallic kiss”. It was a close tie between this shade and Pandora for my favorite in this collection, but I think Shay just barely won out! I think this may the prettiest pinky, nude shade of nail polish I’ve ever tried. About four years ago I had a serious obsession with pale pink nails. I went through no less than a dozen bottles of pale pink polish, never quite finding the perfect shade for the brown skin. Most were too white and ashen or t0o bright and cotton candy-ish in color. Had Shay been around back then, I could have saved myself some time (and money)!

Zoya Nail Polish in Pandora

Finally, we have Pandora, a “mauve beige cream with a metallic kiss”. Pandora was the runner up for my favorite shade in this collection. I mean, is this creamy, metallic mauve not one of the prettiest shades you’ve ever seen? On me it was a hint deeper than a traditional nude, but on deeper skin tones, I think Pandora would be an absolutely stunning nude!

Overall, I loved Zoya’s Touch collection. I appreciated the fact that the colors were full coverage and opaque, instead of the sheer formula that I’ve come across from other brands’ nude polishes. Also, the hint of metallic finish really warmed each shade up and makes them wearable for a variety of skin tones and colors. The Touch collection is available on the Zoya website starting today and retails for $8 a bottle.

What did you think of these shades? Will you be trying any shades in the Zoya Touch collection?

  • Nillie

I am so grateful for these swatches. It’s difficult to find swatches of nail polish on brown skin so I’m really glad you did this. :)

  • Valerie

Thank you for reviewing and showing these on brown skin. I was really wondering what they would look like. :-)

  • Veronica

Let me tell you, as a brown skin Latina it’s hard to find swatches of nail polish online. I am also grateful for you reviewing these polishes! Thank you so much. I think I may get Pandora.

  • Lachelle

Thanks for putting these up! As the other ladies said, I was anxious to see them on brown skin. I’m loving Pandora, I really want that one.
