FAB or DRAB?: Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace State Dinner
Earlier this week President and First Lady Obama payed the Queen of England a visit at Buckingham Palace, and were the guests of honor at a State Dinner. While Mrs. O looked fab (as per usual) during press events during the day, she really turned up the glamour that night! The First Lady donned an ivory ruched georgette ribbon gown by American designer Tom Ford (who resides in the UK part-time). And those opera length gloves are giving me life! How does she manage to make something so seemingly outdated look so fab? Her sparkly evening clutch and dangling earrings were fab, too.
As for her beauty look, Mrs. Obama swept her hair into an updo, and went for a classic smoky eye/nude lip combo. Can anyone recall the last time (if ever) someone wore a sexy smoky eye at the Royal Palace? I know I can’t! I think our First Lady looked absolutely stunning (the President was pretty dashing, too!), but I want to know what you think. What do you think of Michelle Obama’s look? Was it FAB or DRAB? Discuss in the comments!
