Bombshell Style: Ring Guard Solution Review

I absolutely love jewelery, and costume jewelry is some of my favorite! While costume jewelry – particularly vintage- can be unique and one-of-a-kind, it can also be a bit of a fashion challenge. Especially rings! There have been many times when I’ve come across a great ring at a flea market or store and I love it, but the darn thing doesn’t fit. Fortunately, I no longer have to leave a great accessory behind!

I recently received a sample of a genius ring sizer called Ring Guard Solution-Clear, $7.95. Unlike traditional ring guards that you slip around the band of a ring (which NEVER fit, by the way…), Ring Guard Solution is applied to the inside of the ring band to make the size of the ring smaller. The ring in the pic above was at least two sizes too big, so I applied Ring Guard Solution to the entire inside of the ring, rather than just a portion of it. This way I would be able to get a much more snug fit. I let it dry for the recommended three hours, and my ring was ready to go. Check it out!

Ring Guard Solution worked perfectly! The huge gap between the ring and my finger was gone and the ring now fits snugly. You can’t even tell it’s there! Ring Guard Solution dries to a rubbery type substance so there is no slippage, and it can stay on rings for up to three months. When your ring needs to be resized, just peel of the old Ring Guard Solution and apply more. Then you’re good to go for another three months!

I was totally pleased with how this product worked and am applying it to all of my ill-fitting rings. Ring Guard Solution is safe for all metals, and is very reasonably priced in my opinion. Even better, the lovely folks at Luc-Co, Inc., (the parent company of Ring Guard Solution) is offering Brown Bombshell Beauty readers an opportunity to purchase Ring Guard Solution at 20% off through April 15th, 2011! Just enter code 11350 at checkout!

Lol, I know it looks weird, but it works wonders! I went to use mine again recently and was too upset that it was all gone, lol.
