Less or Luxe: Nars Blush vs. Wet ‘n’ Wild Blush
If there is one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that an inexpensive beauty product can sometimes be just as good as its more expensive counterparts. With my new Less or Luxe series I’ll be comparing both expensive and inexpensive versions of similar products, and dishing on which is better!
I absolutely swear by Nars powder blush. They are incredibly pigment rich and give gorgeous color. I very rarely wear another blush. My favorite shade of Nars blush is Taos, a shimmery golden-pink shade, that is positively amazing on deeper skin tones. But at $25 a pop, it can put a serious dent in your beauty budget.
I hadn’t unpacked my makeup bag from a recent trip, so I reached for my Wet ‘n’ Wild blush in Berry Shimmer, which is a dead ringer for Nars Taos. Take a look!
So what did I think?
Well, we know I love my Nars. It’s worth every single penny. As far as the Wet ‘n’ Wild blush, I consider it a great alternative at $3. The color was very rich and gave a pretty glow to my cheeks. The only downside it that the color didn’t last the whole day, but for $3, you can afford to buy a second one for your purse!
So, for this edition of Less or Luxe, I have to call a tie. Go for which ever blush fits your budget, you’re sure to love them both!
