As I type this, I’m packing and preparing to travel to New York City to attend The Makeup Show NYC 2010! This year’s show marks the 5th anniversary of The Makeup Show NYC, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever! So what is The Makeup Show? Only the biggest event in beauty for makeup artists and others in the beauty industry!

Produced by The Powder Group, The Makeup Show features all of the top names in the beauty industry, sharing their tips in seminars and workshops. Another key element of the show is all of the exhibitors who will be displaying their best products. Popular brands like MAC and Make Up For Ever will be exhibiting, along with industry favorites like Eve Pearl and Face Atelier. Beauty insiders will get the chance to see new products before they hit store shelves and meet the people behind their favorite brands.

Yours truly will be in the mix, scoping out the latest products and trends in beauty to report back to my Brown Bombshell Beauty readers! I’ll be back next week with tons of pics, videos and more from the show, as well as some other fabulous beauty news I’ll be uncovering while in NYC (more on that later!).
