Fab or Drab: Jada Pinkett-Smith at Kid’s Choice Awards 2010

It’s been a long while since we’ve had a Fab or Drab moment here on the blog, so I though this hairdo Jada Pinkett-Smith debuted at the Kid’s Choice Awards would be perfect!

At first glance, this style looks iike a high ponytail, but closer inspection shows lots of intricate braiding. A thin braid starts out at the top of Jada’s head, then wraps around a knot-like bun at the crown. Then, a larger braid falls out of the bun and opens into a regular pony.

Personally, I’m not totally sure I’m feeling this style. It’s certainly unique, but could also be bordering on over-the-top. Tell me, is Jada Fab or Drab?

    I think this is a fab style for Jada.

    More interesting than a plain high ponytail. It highlights her bone structure and makes her earrings pop. It’s a little playful so it’s perfect for the Kids’ Choice Awards.

    TOTALLY FAB!!!!!!!!!!!! Love when her hair short or pulled off her face…she can totally carry it…

    First I was surprised to see this style on her but I guess it was a fun style for a kids function but I would not like to have seen that hair style on her at an adult function.
