Fragrance Review: Halle Berry Pure Orchid

If you’ve read any of my fragrance reviews, you know that I love Halle by Halle Berry. So, imagine my surprise when I happened across a new, limited edition fragrance from Ms. Berry at Walgreen’s earlier this evening. Since it was on sale this week for $10 off at Walgreen’s, I decided to pick it up, as it’s already rather affordable. And let me tell you, I am smitten!

Halle Pure Orchid has notes of jungle cactus flower, lemon, blackberry creme, star anise, masdevallia orchid, giant sequoia and patchouli. Pure Orchid is sweet and creamy, but not cloying or juvenile in its scent. It has just the right balance of sweetness, florals and musk to give a soft, light fragrance that is delicate and decidedly feminine. If you like Thierry Mugler Angel, Aquolina Pink Sugar or Kat Von D Saint, you will love this!

Halle Pure Orchid will be in drugstores and discount stores this month in .05 oz and 1 oz sizes, or you can buy it online at Wal-Mart.
