Fashion Find: Miley Cyrus and Max Azria Skinny Twill Pant

So I was cruising through Wal-Mart a while back (is it just me, or do I always seem to be in Wal-Mart these days? Hmm…) and I came across these fabulous little pants. Last year when I first heard about the collaboration between teen pop-star Miley Cyrus and Max Azria, designer of sexified women’s clothing, I was curious but found nothing worth writing home about.

Fast forward to last month. While there still wasn’t much that a 20-something woman could (or should) wear, there were a few cute pieces that could be pulled off. I picked up the Skinny Twill Pant, $20 in both black and charcoal (they’re also available in plum), and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

These chic, stretchy pants are like the best leggings on earth, but better! They’re super thick, making them perfect for these winter months. I’ve worn them in extremely cold weather, and found that they kept my legs warmer than my usual leggings. Another great feature of the pants is that they have faux pockets in the front, complete with grommets, and real pockets in the back. Plus, they have a real zipper and button closure. I think this makes them look more presentable than regular leggings, and let’s you get away with wearing a shorter top or cardigan.

I’m obsessed with the black pair these days, and I think the charcoal color is going to look fab with tanks and tees this summer. I would recommend going down a size, as the first pairs I got kept slipping down my backside. Not a good look! I exchanged them for a smaller size and the fit is fantastic!

So check these out the next time you’re in Wal-Mart!

  • I didn't see or notice these pants but the next time I'm in Walmart I will check them out. I did see a few cute tops (although of bad quality) that I liked.
